OH OH OH! I seriously need this! I learn my lesson... :( I lost my thumb-drive and my laptop crashed! Seriously need this. i prefer the red one cuz its eye catching, that it makes me notice it and i will not lose it when i'm using it. Bad habit of losing small stuff. So this is suitable for me.
As you can see, the space is really huge, that i will have not problem to save all i want. The files from the design software are so huge! I had 3 thumb-drives and it is not enough!

Kind of expensive ($169) though. But this is would be a 'long time investment' for me. Emphasize that it's handmade. So it's worth buying :).'

From Practical 1&2 , Introduction to Internet Resources : Category & Purposes of Internet Resources excercise shows me how powerful Internet is.
Information come from anywhere and everywhere and there are millions of results shown when you type in a few words.
I have chose to do on the topic 'discuss the benefits of combining design & technology'. Through dicussion forum, electronic news, WWW site and blogs, i got to know more about the topic I'm doing on. All the information from different sources are very different even though I keyed in the same words, the results surprised me with amazing information that I've never thought of.
For example, from the forum, I got to know about this wearable motorcycle that was designed by a student and it was discussed by many people. It is a unique piece of work that was designed to be worn by human body, that enables the person to travel like a motorcycle using some technology, looking like The Transformer from my view. Views were shown, pros and cons. People are so straight forward in their post that some comments might hurt the designer who designed the wearable motorcycle. It seems like being annonymous allows some people to hurt others using their comments and without much thoughts. This shows me that I have to look at what I post even though I'm 'invisible'. I don't want to be like some netizen that hurt others.
As for the electronic news, I came to know about this interactive plant design, an eco design that shows the efficency of the household applicances. Technology combine with design is another way to gain our awareness about Eco matters.
From the yankodesign.com, i got to know about this design that headlight is embedded in the shoe, which helps to give so light in the night. This combination helps to protect the users' safety and is very convenient for the users.
And the last resource is from a blog that shows numerous types of interactive technology and design. It shows me how a person's blog not only gain his own knowledge, but also help others when he is sharing his information. That's what I've learn from the lesson!
